How does purchasing furniture at Om Home & Garden work?

Select your desired item in our online shop and add it to your cart. After completing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Before shipment, we will contact you to confirm or coordinate a suitable delivery date. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link to follow the delivery progress.

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account is optional and simply helps you manage your orders more easily.

How secure is shopping with you?

Shopping at Om Home & Garden is secure. Our website uses encrypted SSL connections, and all payments are processed through trusted and established payment providers.

Which payment methods do you offer?

We accept common payment methods such as credit card, PayPal, KLARNA, and other locally available options. The available payment methods are shown during checkout.

Do you offer financing or installment payments?

We do not currently offer in-house financing. However, some payment providers may offer installment options depending on your location and payment method.

How do I redeem a gift card or discount code?

You can enter your gift card or discount code in the cart or during checkout. The amount will be automatically deducted from your total.

🚚 Delivery & Buying Guidance

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times depend on the product type:

  • In-stock items: Delivered within 1–3 weeks, shipped directly from our warehouse in the Netherlands.
    Before dispatch, we will contact you to confirm a suitable delivery date.
  • Pre-order items: These pieces are handcrafted exclusively for you by our experienced artisan partners.
    The delivery time is approximately 12–16 weeks, including careful production and coordinated shipping to Europe in small, sustainable batches.
    Each pre-order item is made individually. The extended delivery time reflects the craftsmanship and attention involved in creating a one-of-a-kind piece.
Can I choose my delivery date?

Before your order is dispatched, we will get in touch with you to confirm or propose a delivery date.

If the suggested date does not work for you, we will try to adjust the delivery where possible, depending on carrier availability.

Where will my order be delivered to?

Standard delivery is made curbside at the address you provide.

If you require additional services such as in-home delivery or assembly, please contact us in advance so we can arrange an individual solution.

What if my country is not listed as a shipping destination?

If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact our customer service and we are happy to review whether shipping is possible and explore available options on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that shipping cannot be guaranteed for unlisted destinations.

At this time, we do not ship to the USA, and island destinations are excluded. Island deliveries may only be considered for large or project-based orders, not for individual retail purchases.

🔄 Returns & Damages

How does the return process work?

We offer a 30-day return policy for change-of-mind returns. Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order.
Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and suitable for resale.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, including the organization of the return shipment.

What should I do if my item arrives damaged?

If you notice visible damage during delivery, please refuse the package if possible and contact our customer service immediately.

If the package was delivered in your absence, please contact us as soon as possible so we can advise you on the next steps.

How long is the warranty valid?

All products are covered by the statutory warranty. If you experience any issues, please contact our customer service team.

Can furniture be customized or configured?

Some of our pieces offer limited variations. As our furniture is handcrafted, natural differences in color, wood grain, and detailing are part of the material and craftsmanship.

Fully bespoke, made-to-order furniture is generally not available for individual retail orders, as most pieces are produced in planned batches for international shipping.

In selected cases — such as wardrobes and beds — small adjustments based on existing designs (for example, minor dimension changes) may be possible. These requests must be discussed before placing an order and may involve longer lead times.

How should I read your size information correctly?

All measurements are listed in the product descriptions. Please measure your space carefully and consider access points such as doorways, staircases, and hallways.

Do you provide assembly instructions or support?

Our furniture is generally delivered fully assembled.

Beds are the exception and are delivered disassembled for transport. They are easy to assemble and come with clear assembly instructions.
